Ling long is a one of kind Chinese restaurant. They have a variety of soup dumplings, and classic Chinese favorites. But the owners are from China who has over 12 restaurants in China. The Chinese Chinese dishes are amazing! They have sour fish, stinky tofu (think cheese), eggplants with preserved eggs etc. The taste was amazing. The owners and staff were exceptional. It's good to go somewhere in FV not in Irvine or San Gabriel for both Chinese American and Authentic Chinese dishes. The decor was beautiful and they have rooms to accommodate large parties.

This place has a lot of dishes but there all pretty decent and for its price points too. I’d come back here if you have big parties of people to entertain. The service is good and the food comes out pretty fast like any other Chinese restaurant.

Decided to try this spot out since we were in the area. Pretty good parking, though I imagine it gets full on weekends. The place is spacious, well decorated and clean. We ordered our food off a tablet and it was delivered tableside post haste. We had the cucumber salad first, bright, vinegary and spicy. Then came the sizzling beef, a specialty of the house which was absolutely delicious. Beef shaved so thin, melded with the garlic, spices, peppers and onions. We also got the udon noodle dish, while the noodles were good, nice and chewy and peppery, and the shrimp had the tails removed (classy, loved that detail), they needed a little more in terms of depth of flavor. We were absolutely floored by the dumplings. We had the pork and the broth was the best we've had in Orange County. Strong, aromatic and with a depth of flavor enhanced by the pork, we are going back for more! Finally, we also had the jasmine tea, which was excellent. We'll priced, overall quality was high and food is delicious. Highly recommend!! And to top it all off, the service was stellar. Water, drinks, napkins and closing the check were all well supported. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Linglong has been open about 4 months now and this was our first time here. Clean look and pleasant atmosphere. Great service and food. And if you come on your birthday, they have a special noodle soup for you (they told us)! If you like soup dumplings without the long wait at other restaurants, this is a great option. The signature xiaolongbao comes with two of each of the following: shrimp, crab, pork and truffle. The stir-fried pork with chili is served in a pan over a flame to keep it warm. The stir-fried green beans are perfectly crunchy with a little heat. Beef fried rice was delicious. The filling for the cream cheese wontons was good but the tips of the wonton were almost burnt , so that was the least favorite item for us. The chocolate xiaolongbao is like having some hot cocoa burst in your mouth if you eat it soon after it arrives at your table, but a little more creamy after you let them sit for a few minutes. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance so we will definitely be back!

Incredible atmosphere and super attentive service, the food was delicious and made to perfection! Was really impressed at the affordable prices for such exceptional food and presentation, got a coupon for free soup dumplings too!
